Task Force Application

ACMP plans to create task forces this year to help us accomplish our vision of leading the way change works. A task force is a short-term project with a beginning and an end. We are looking for volunteers who would be interested in serving in an upcoming task force.

ACMP anticipates starting additional task forces this year.

The Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) appreciates your dedication, expertise and time. By volunteering to serve in any capacity you are making a commitment to improving and growing professional discipline of change management. In making this commitment you are forging an implied contract – there will be Board officers, other volunteers, and members of the Association depending on you to honor that commitment.

At various points in your service you will be viewed as an ACMP ambassador. To ensure a consistent and positive public face, ACMP asks each volunteer to review and subscribe to the principles and standards listed below. This serves to protect you and ACMP.
Volunteers are expected to represent ACMP with professionalism and courtesy and to use the resources of the ACMP responsibly. Volunteers are asked not to contact organizations or individuals on behalf of the Association unless authorized. ACMP accepts the service of all volunteers with the understanding that such service is at the mutual discretion of you and the Association. Just as you may terminate your volunteer service at any time, the ACMP reserves the right to do the same. Volunteers are expected to be familiar with any Board Policies relevant to their volunteer position, to act in accordance with those policies, and to perform their volunteer duties in a professional manner at all times, bringing credit to themselves and to the ACMP.
You assign to ACMP all rights, title and interest in and to any information or material developed, conceived or created by you as part of your service to the Association, including any and all materials subject to copyright.
All volunteers commit to ethical, businesslike, and lawful conduct, including proper use of authority and appropriate decorum when acting as ACMP Committee or Task Force members. Accordingly volunteers conduct themselves with un-conflicted loyalty to the interests ACMP and its stakeholder members and must abide by relevant association-wide policies. ACMP volunteers may not attempt to exercise individual authority over the organization, except as explicitly set forth in ACMP Policies or Committee and Task Force charters. I have read and agree to abide by and uphold my role and responsibility as an ACMP volunteer.
ACMP volunteers may be exposed to information which is confidential and/or privileged and proprietary in nature. It is the policy of ACMP that such information must be kept confidential both during and after volunteer service. Volunteers are expected to return all materials containing privileged or confidential information at the expiration of volunteer service.
Unauthorized disclosure of confidential or privileged information is a serious violation of this policy and will subject the person(s) who made the unauthorized disclosure to appropriate discipline, including removal from volunteer service.
I understand the commitment required by ACMP to perform in the position I have chosen and agree to do so to the best of my ability should I be selected for the committee. I also understand that my by submitting this form I acknowledge and agree to abide by the ACMP Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.
