Awareness helps us to respond to change with confidence and flexibility.  How can you as an individual best cope with VUCA changes like COVID-19? The skill of awareness is key. When you are able to pause, observe and cultivate a neutral mind, then you build a deep stabilization within your core being that can weather any storm. COVID has forced us abruptly into isolation, discomfort and survival mode which rattles our sense of security. Yet, when we practice awareness, we live in the now. From a state of grounded presence, we can choose hope over despair in any situation. We can release fear and anxiety and step into the unknown with a sense of curiosity and aliveness. As change practitioners, we must lead ourselves and others through this valley of despair with calm and grace. Operate from a state of constant awareness. Tune into your breath and body as a source of intelligence for processing change. Notice habitual patterns and cravings - like wanting to return to the status quo. Be open and adaptable every moment of every day. Collective awareness is how we will lift each other up and forward into a new realm of possibility.  What techniques do you practice to achieve and sustain awareness?
