How long can an AСMP Chapter be inactive and maintain status quo under conditions of self-isolation? The Ukrainian Chapter was formed in May 2019. Our Chapter held its 1st CM forum on the 28th of February 2020 and planned an offline events calendar with partners and change management professionals from our community for the rest of the year. Due to COVID-19 pandemics everything suddenly changed. It was quite frustrating at first. But we didn’t stumble for long. We watched how our corporate members of the community adapted their employees to work remotely. We watched them acquire valuable experience in e-communication methods and technology during this crisis. We saw how they combined CM with other approaches to change working habits while keeping their staff healthy. As those around us adapt to the changing world, it is important to share these unique experiences with our community and apply them to our Chapter challenge, We accepted this Challenge for ourselves: “How can our Chapter and our community continue spreading CM practices on-line? How do we identify and adopt resources and platforms suitable for interactive sharing? What competencies do we and our speakers need in order to do this efficiently? “This experience has been amazing!” It identifies us as very proactive professionals with real CM values, stimulates self-development, helps community members to feel supported and it maintains balance. Within our Chapter, we choose to be Pro-active! What is your Chapter doing to proactively adapt to the current situation to enable your agenda to move forward?
