By now, you have hopefully heard that Change Management 2020 is cancelled due to the growing implications of the COVID-19 global pandemic. This is incredibly disappointing for those who were planning on attending, for the broader change community, and for ACMP, as it is our flagship event and an opportunity for all to connect face-to-face annually.
Our annual conference is not the only way ACMP engages and mobilizes our community. Now, more than ever, our members are being called on to share their expertise, support people through all magnitudes of change, and remind us all about our shared humanity and the very personal implications of change.
Clearly, all of us, and the organizations we serve, are dealing with unprecedented and enormous challenges. We are starting to see early signals that organizations must reinvent their strategies and how they work. With so many unknowns and variables, we expect this is only the beginning.
In full alignment with our mission, we believe ACMP can best serve our members and the community by helping you feel prepared and confident in your professional role during these times. We do not have all the answers yet - but we are working diligently to develop a host of options for how ACMP can connect and collaborate with the community in the coming weeks and months.
Wishing you health and peace,
Roxanne M. Brown
