Since finishing business school in 2000, my career in Organizational Change Management (OCM) has focused on working on and leading change initiatives – from local to global transformations involving for a wide variety of organizations from small (under 50) to very large (70,000+). My work often included developing change infrastructures, from creating informal OCM communities to building methodologies, tools and Change teams. Currently I’m in southwest Florida in the US and am an Organizational Readiness Program Manager for a private medical device company focusing on global change initiatives.
In pre-OCM life, this Theater major spent years in Los Angeles and New York pursuing stage work with part-time success. A three-month bike and train trip to Europe led to an 8 year adventure in Japan – learning Japanese language and culture and re-calibrating my professional goals.
Once I ‘found my calling’ in OCM, I was all in, and was primed for ACMP. A group of colleagues and I founded the Northern California chapter where I served as President and Treasurer and was able to assist Southern California establish their chapter.
In 2017, as Chair of the ACMP Chapter Leadership Forum (CLF), I conducted a listening tour with leaders from all chapters. Based on the feedback, CLF work group volunteers focused on improving chapter management by developing and delivering projects around Knowledge Sharing, Collaboration and On-Boarding.
It would be a privilege to put my experience, passion and focus to work for our ACMP membership as a member of the global board.
