TWO Reasons to Become Certified ASAP!

Reason 1:

Less than 40 spots remain on the list of the First 500 Certified Change Management Professionals™ to ever hold this professional designation – an accomplishment that will forever be memorialized on our website and recognized by the industry! We expect to certify 500 graduates by the end of this month and hope YOU will be one of them.

Reason 2:

This month, at Change Management 2018 in Las Vegas—the largest global gathering of change management professionals—we will be celebrating the accomplishments of ALL CCMP Graduates regardless of whether or not they will be in attendance. Be a part of leading the way change works by becoming certified and recognized at #ACMP2018.

Follow These Simple Steps to Join the First 500:

  1. To become certified, complete and submit your CCMP Application for review.
  2. To fulfill the training requirement, enroll in a QEP™ course. All courses in the QEP Registry adhere to adult education best practices and align to The Standard for Change Management®.
  3. To schedule the exam, review the list of global exam centers. Once your application is approved, you will receive a personalized link with instructions on how to register.
  4. To prepare for the exam, download The Standard, study these flash cards, review the ACMP Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct and join us on one of our upcoming coaching calls.

CCMP Graduate Spotlight
Our graduates are leading the way change works and want to inspire you to join them! This month’s featured graduate is Julie Jordan, CCMP™, Sr. Change Leadership Strategist, SaraJames Consulting.

Why did you decide to pursue the CCMP?

My journey began in grade school when I realized I was horrible at taking tests and rote memorization. Fast forward many decades, and years of experience later, it became a personal challenge to prove my teachers wrong. With many years of change management experience, and certified in a few different methodologies, I felt confident I could do this - regardless of the outcome.

How did you prepare for the CCMP?

While I was somewhat confident I knew the material from my years of experience, that did not guarantee me a passing score, so I aligned the Standards to what I knew change management in practice to be and then looked for any missing steps or pieces. Not a perfect system, but it was the best way for me to manage my stress around taking the test. I also remembered to "breathe" every so often! For anyone that suffers from test anxiety, I tell them this: If you have been successful in leading or being an integral part of a change initiative, you will do better than you think.

How has earning the CCMP benefited you personally and professionally?

From a confidence perspective, taking the test and passing was amazing. I will never forget the day I found out at the conference in Dallas. Professionally, I do not think the market place has caught up yet, but that does not stop me from telling my clients that I am certified and what that means. They typically pay a little more attention to me at that point. My CCMP designation is on my LinkedIn profile, business cards. It helped secure a contract to lead change for an ERP with a local government agency.
