Spotlight: Qualified Education Provider™ Workshops at #ACMP2018

The Qualified Education Provider™ (QEP™) Registry is your one-stop shop for Change Management training! Developed and managed by ACMP, the QEP Program promotes the consistency of change management training by qualifying courses that align to The Standard for Change Management© and adult education best practices. All QEP courses can be used to satisfy the Certified Change Management Professional™ (CCMP™) application or continuing education requirements.

In addition to year round courses, next month, a number of QEPs will also be hosting Pre- and/or Post-Conference Workshops at Change Management 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. These unique, small-group sessions are dedicated to providing education in a hands-on environment. Explore the topics and register today, as these special teachings require an additional fee and seating is limited. Also, as reminder, the early registration rate for conference ends February 25th so register for the conference to take advantage of great savings!

CCMP Graduate Spotlight
Our graduates are leading the way change works and want to inspire you to join them! This month’s featured graduate is Jan Andry, CCMP.

My journey to CCMP accreditation began last year at the 2017 conference in New Orleans. There was a lot of information and excitement about the “First 500.” The ACMP Certification Manager, Alissa DeMeglio, had arranged a “dine around” for those that wanted to learn more about the CCMP. I attended the dinner and was excited to hear from those that had passed the exam and how the CCMP had validated their professional commitment as a Certified Change Management Professional.

My first step towards certification was getting my required education hours from a Qualified Education Provider. I chose one that offered an online class and their reviews from previous students were excellent. The study guide I received was very thorough and helped me as I worked through the e-learning material that used project simulations and chapter quizzes. Once I finished the course I submitted my application for approval to take the CCMP exam. When my application was accepted, I started studying the ACMP Code of Ethics, The Standard, Candidate Handbook and flash cards available on the ACMP website.

I kept in contact with Alissa all along the way and would reach out to her if I had questions. The information on the website and webinars on the certification were invaluable.  Alissa is a great motivator with her emails always ending in “You can do it.”

When I took the exam and passed it, Alissa was one of the first ones I emailed telling her I had passed.  The support that ACMP provides to those thinking about taking the test, those that want to continue with their professional development and the network ACMP provides are a testament to the dedication of ACMP to this profession.

You Can Do It!!!!!
