As change practitioners, we know the reinforcement techniques needed to make change “stick.” As change leaders, we also know that we, too, have a significant role to play in embodying the behaviors we espouse. Earlier this month, we shared with you the ways ACMP can help you turn your resolutions into action. We encourage you to make change stick through growing your network, continuing your education and being an active ACMP member!

Share the Experience and Get Rewarded

Each year, annual conference provides an opportunity for attendees to expand his or her expertise and to further strengthen the overall discipline. The best way to grow the industry is to “invite” your friends, colleagues, neighbors and “share” the Change Management 2018 experience, then you “get” rewarded! To participate, an attendee just needs to use “YOUR NAME” in the “WHO INVITED YOU” form field within the online registration.

  • The attendee (1) with the highest number of INVITEES, will be named the Contest winner and will receive complimentary Conference registration to Change Management 2019 or a 2018 Regional Conference
  • One (1) person will be randomly selected in a raffle drawing* to receive complimentary luxury transportation to and from the Las Vegas airport to Caesar’s Palace Hotel and Casino along with a spa treatment certificate
  • All participants will be recognized at Change Management 2018

*Eligible participants must have at least one (1) entry in the “WHO INVITED YOU” registration form field.

If you have already registered for Change Management 2018… you still have a chance to “Get Rewarded!” Tell anyone you referred to follow these easy steps:

  1. Visit his or her #ACMP2018 attendee portal (link available in registration confirmation email)
  2. Edit Contact Information
  3. Update the “WHO INVITED YOU” form field with YOUR NAME

The “Invite Your Change Network” Contest ends February 25! The more INVITES* you have, the more chances to WIN!

Volunteer with ACMP
Volunteering is a valuable member benefit as it offers you opportunities to become an involved, engaged and connected member. The new year is an exciting time for ACMP as we launch new committees of valuable ACMP volunteers! With more than 160 volunteers providing upwards of 14,000 hours of service each year, ACMP grows and thrives because of its volunteers. Each committee has a set of goals to achieve each year that are guided and approved by the Board of Directors, who are volunteers themselves! We asked our volunteers what they hoped to gain from their volunteer experience. Below are a few of their inspirational comments:

  • “I'd love to help create awareness for all the wonderful benefits of being an involved member of the ACMP community. I am a great believer in continuous learning and giving back to the community - whether professional or personal.” Christine Arena, Volunteer Engagement Committee
  • “I'm new to ACMP and looking for ways to engage, support and learn more about ACMP and meet other members.” Wes Ven Johnson, Membership Committee
  • It is important to stay connected with other practitioners and be involved in the promotion and advancement of the discipline, and volunteering is an excellent way to do that.” Melanie Matthys, White Paper Committee

Although ACMP does not have an open Call for Volunteers now, we encourage members to visit our Volunteer Central page to learn more and to submit an application for task forces. Getting your name on this list allows us to reach out to you when a need for a task force arises.

With active and engaged volunteers, we will continue to work together to achieve our vision of leading the way change works! Thank you!
