Presenter: Roxanne Brown

Skill Level: Advanced (8-10 years)

Bio: Roxanne Brown is the CEO of The Change Decision and a change expert with more than 25 years of experience in tech, policy, culture change. Her background is in workplace culture and risk management. Roxanne has led several C-Suite transitions and multi-million dollar change programs, and coached countless leaders and leadership teams. She launched The Change Decision to make work part of a life well-lived through how business change is done, connecting change to joy at work.

Roxanne received her bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts, with a focus in Leadership Studies, from the University of Richmond. Roxanne is also the former President of the global Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP).

Innovation Elegance: What A People-Centric Methodology Looks Like, Presented by ACMP Pacific NW https://www.acmpglobal.org/events/EventDetails.aspx?id=1847012 https://www.acmpglobal.org/events/EventDetails.aspx?id=1847012 .cpBTN { display: inline-block; background: #4484CE; color: #fff; padding: 10px 30px; text-align: center; } .cpBTN:hover { color: #fff; background: #666666; } Learn More and Register

Title: Innovation Elegance: What A People-Centric Methodology Looks Like

Type of Event: Webinar

Speaker: Robert Snyder

Description:  Summary Innovation has had two decades of software-centric methodologies. Project success rates are not great. The employee experience is not great. What makes innovation difficult is not software, so this should be no surprise. What makes innovation difficult are people – how we interact, collaborate, and compete with each other. Therefore, a people-centric methodology is not revolutionary. It’s just overdue. The good news is that solutions are familiar and fun! This session explains how small changes to three well-known references is the recipe for a people-centric methodology. These changes raise a team’s discipline and empathy, simplify messy project plans, and convert your organization’s communication traffic jams into a symphony.
Takeaways:
  • How to improve on the RACI and structure a team into healthy rhythm of durable decision.
  • Thoughtful templates are small hinges that swing large doors (of culture).
  • How the performing arts give you a collaborative advantage.
