Title: How to Successfully Transform Organizational Culture

Presenter: Linda Ackerman Anderson, EdD

Culture is the most under-attended factor when planning for major change, leading to many initiatives never attaining adoption or sustainment. Culture either supports the success of your initiative outcomes or inhibits them. Most traditional approaches to change do not understand the impact or importance of culture as it relates to leadership or the design of solutions. Most ignore integrating cultural imperatives in assessments or plans. Often, culture is a bolt-on strategy or given to change managers to fix after deployment. This doesn’t work. This session presents a proven process and the components and conditions required to successfully change culture, aligned with project outcomes. It presents how culture reflects leadership mindset, implying that leadership development and modeling is an essential factor in generating breakthroughs in culture change. Come explore what it really takes to align leaders, make cultural requirements tangible and how to actually change it.

Who should Participate?

This session is ideal for experienced change management practitioners and leaders involved in major transformational change that directly impact culture. Less experienced professionals committed to their learning will also find it valuable and insightful.
