ACMP has renamed the ACMP Academy sessions
to MASTERCLASS Sessions! The Conference
Committee wanted a name to reflect the content
and intent of these special sessions.
MASTERCLASS is an exclusive opportunity
only available to seasoned change management
practitioners with at least 11 years of
industry experience. From small-group discussions,
workshops and panels, each MASTERCLASS is
designed to be engaging, informative and
collaborative for conference’s more experienced
attendees who are looking for something
different each year.
Led by premier experts, sessions are
aimed to provide insight on the latest industry
trends, examine upcoming challenges and
offer fresh strategies within the change
MASTERCLASS sessions are unique opportunities

How has earning the CCMP
benefited you personally and professionally?
After nearly 17 years as a professional
management consultant for large professional
service firms including Booz Allen and
PwC, I became frustrated with having to
find and develop change management opportunities
in the shadows of broader consulting projects.
Rather, I wanted change initiatives to be
the primary focus not only of my work, but
of my development as a professional. So
I started my own firm - ChangeSmith Management
Consultants. The CCMP has been an important
credential not only in developing the rigor
with which we approach the tactical elements
of our clients' work, but also in expanding
upon the credibility with which we are considered
for future work. I am very pleased to have
made the commitment to pursue the CCMP and
honored to have been among the first practitioners

for various short term projects and we need
volunteers! Our committees are currently
full, but we will need additional volunteers
to help on various projects, such as research,

who is not on a current committee or on
